The University of Nottingham, described by The Sunday Times University Guide 2011 as ‘the embodiment of the modern international university’, has award-winning campuses in the United Kingdom, China and Malaysia. It is ranked in the UK's Top 10 and the World's Top 75 universities by the Shanghai Jiao Tong (SJTU) and the QS World University Rankings, placing it in the top 1% of all universities worldwide. This year (2011) it has climbed rankings published in the Complete University Guide, the Guardian University Guide, and The Times Good University Guide.

Supported by Sir Harry and Lady Djanogly and organised in association with the Crane Kalman Gallery, London, it includes a substantial body of works generously loaned by The Lowry Collection, Salford. With special thanks to Carol Ann Lowry and the Estate of L S Lowry.
